What to get in touch about

This site is run by one person, so the fastest way to get a useful reply is to be specific. These are the messages that get answered first:

• Guide requests. Want a buying guide for a category that is not covered yet? Say which category, and what you are trying to decide between.
• Corrections. Spotted an outdated specification, a price that no longer matches, or a claim that is simply wrong? Tell me the page and the specific line.
• Broken links. If a link leads to a dead end or somewhere unexpected, send the page you were on and the link text.
• Product questions. Not sure which option in a guide suits your setup? Describe your hardware, your budget, and what matters most to you.
• Business and affiliate enquiries. Questions about review standards or sponsorship are welcome — the affiliate disclosure answers most of them first.

What to include in your email

A few details make a big difference. Include the guide or page you are writing about, the specific product or model, and what you have already tried. If you are asking about a build or a purchase, a rough budget and your region help, because pricing and availability vary by country.

Screenshots are welcome when they show a problem clearly. Please keep attachments small, and avoid sending them unless they are relevant.

What I cannot help with

To set expectations honestly: this is an independent guide and review site, not a retailer or a manufacturer. I cannot process orders, arrange returns, handle warranty claims, or provide account support for any store. Those requests need to go directly to the retailer or manufacturer involved.

I also cannot give personalised advice on safety-critical work such as electrical installation, vehicle repair, or dive instruction. The guides here explain how to compare equipment; they are not a substitute for a qualified professional.

Response times and privacy

This site is maintained alongside other work, so replies usually take a few days. Messages that need research can take longer, and not every request can be answered — but corrections and broken-link reports are always read.
